Andrea writes…

These are indeed very challenging times for all of us for so many reasons, we will all have a story to tell.  And that is why we are part of God’s family; we are here to support one another. Remember that the church is not the building, but that it is you and me, where we are, we are ‘God’s temple in which he lives by his Spirit’ (Ephesians 2:22).

During these days of social distancing and isolation, I will be regularly posting on our Facebook page (you don’t need to have a Facebook account to see it, but if you can’t access it, see if there is someone who can set it up for you). If you have no internet access, don’t be dismayed. All the time I am able, I will continue to have Morning Prayer at 9.00 in the chapel.

Hard copies (handled with very clean hands!) will be delivered to those we know who have no internet access. If you would like a hard copy please let me know. On Sundays, Brad is setting up Live Stream online worship (more details below).

There are many resources being offered to join in worship together online and on TV, watch our Facebook page for links. Perhaps now is the time to download an app onto your phone to read/hear the Bible each day? Also please do let us know if you or a neighbour have any particular needs that you think we can help with, or simply let us have your prayer requests via email or send a message through Facebook.

Please remember that we are united in Christ, let us pray for one another, and let us rejoice that we have a God who ultimately works all things together for good for those who are called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28) and that includes you. Jesus said ‘in this world, you will have trouble, but take heart, I have overcome the world’ (John 16:33). You are not alone, and you are not forgotten.

With much love and prayers,
